Accident

On the 8 Th August, I went out on a ride with 3 of my mates from Cycle Chat, and as going downhill about 25 to 30 mph, I hit a caught a grass verge and came off my bike.
I went to work for about week and a half still in pain, then last Thursday I found out I had cracked a rib ouch

Sorry for not blogging, but I only get on a computer when one is available.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas and a good start to 2010.
I got the Dawes karakum, that i had test rode back in October of last year.
I picked her up on the 11/11/09.
I intend to take her on a nice long ride asap.
The main use for the bike is commuting and not as many pleasure rides are happening due to work and of course our lovely weather

miles to date

So far this year I have done 2,256.87 miles.
I have lost bike computer, so this month not sure what I've done possible around the 400 plus.

Test ride

I had a test ride of the Dawes Karakum and it was a very nice ride, I loved the butterfly handle bars very different experience.

I am hoping all the paperwork for the cycle to work scheme will be sorted out so I can pick the bike and put it through it's paces.

Km to Miles

This month I am going to be recording in miles rather then km, although it looks good doing more it will be easier to work out miles for traval claims @ work

New Bike

I am in the process of buying a new bike on cycle to work scheme, it is another tourer a Dawes Kara-Kum.
I am still going to keep the Raleight Pioneer Venture as my winter hack

Sunday 7th June

I went out for a ride today, I started off in Glastonbury to Wells, Priddy, Chedder Gorge, Wedmore, Westhey, Meare and back to Glastonbury.
It took 2hrs 40mins and 27secs an was 54.91 km long
The weather was really nice and cycling though the Gorge was a wonderful sight.
